In 2019, butterflies rising started a series of poems and quotes that she wrote after a break up. ‘exhale it all as stardust and art’ is a quote and poem excerpt from the series that is published in her poetry book ‘she’s flowers and fire’ and her poetry inspiration journal ‘go where you breathe free’. The full poems in the series, ‘a fire in that kiss’ and ‘beautiful stardust’ are about the how heartbreak can feel like the end of everything, but even if we get out hearts broken, we can learn and grow and become better versions of ourselves from the experience, and eventually become more beautiful and we can exhale it all as stardust and art.
