you can no longer stay small.
and it’s ok to take
small steps and deep breaths, love,
but you also have to learn to take up
your own space. and to not say you’re sorry
when you do. and you’re going to be rejected
for these wings you’re growing and these
fires you’re starting… but these are such.
beautiful. things. they are a sweet
and wild rebellion in you.
and you have to keep choosing you.
because nothing will matter if you reject you.
so if something needs you small… you just
can’t let it hold you still anymore.
